Wow! Thanks!!!

How incredibly exciting.

I began blogging for, I think, about 15 months now. I began it with the encouragement of a friend and I thought "what a great way to keep in touch when I move".

Well, it has become so much more than that and I'm so thrilled to have met so many of you and shared, and been the recipient of great encouragement, information, and lots of giggles through some wonderful posts from other blog friends.

So, in honor of that, I am passing on this wonderful "arte y pico" award to........

Stacey of Tattered N Torn Primitives---I'm sure she has probably received this award before, but I must say. She's my daily giggle. Her accounts of just daily life in her writings are so funny. (Erma Bombeck style) and her fun, creative art is worth the time to stop in and read her blog. You'll be inspired and you'll get a belly laugh too.

Sue of So Blessed---Sue is a long time friend of mine that I have to give this award to. She has grown as a gifted artist and enjoys sharing herself and her talents with anyone who needs it or wants it. She exudes joy and her posts are always encouraging as well as her murals inspiring that grace the walls of different business', and even the children's wing at her church.

You'll enjoy seeing what Sue is up to next.

Kim of Kim's Art By The Sea---I recently discovered Kim's blog and enjoy stopping by because I know it will be a serene moment. I love the ocean, the smell, everything about it. I am taken back there when I visit Kim's blog. Her art is amazing and detailed and I'm usually blown away by her latest creation and her giftedness.

Cookie of Curds & Whey---One of my favorite stops is this one. I don't know whether it's the country life, the pics, or the creations I like the most. I think it's all the aforementioned.

Always fun, always encouraging and always a treat.

Danny of I Blog Creative Stuff---This may seem an unusual one for this award, but as I was reading the requirements for this honor, I just couldn't help but think of Danny. He is the Worship Director of NewPointe community Church and really has a wonderful grasp on creativity. He gives great advice on perspective for creative people and not only thinking outside the box, but sometimes, when I've read his posts, I think, you know, there really IS no box! I visit often and am always encouraged by Danny. A wonderful singer, artist, and encourager to the creative.

Well, gang, there they are. Just some of the people who encourage and inspire me on a daily basis. Though, I could give this award to sooooo many, I'm choosing the required 5.
