I just wanted to post these pics of the house we are attempting to purchase in PA so that you can see the BEFOREs and I can chronicle this journey we are embarking on.
She looks so cute from the outside...
Great neighborhood...
but, as I look at these pics, the list of projects just keeps getting longer. I smile and cringe at the same time.
(back of house, patio)
Landscaping, Fix pavers on Patio....Add personality, maybe a sunroom in the future plans
(Basement)
O Lordy! Tear it up and start over. The list is too long to go there just yet.
(Den)
The Den is a nice little family room attached to the kitchen. I see possibilities and I've seen it empty so please ignore the strange decor here
(Dining Room)
Paint n Style
Make it stunning!
(Full Bath on 2nd floor)
Needs some fixes, but all the expensive fixtures are good. Just needs cosmetic love
(Grandbabe's room)
I want to make this room special for when our Grandbabes visit. A special room just for them.
(Guest Room)
This guest room is already put together in my head and I have everything to make it a comfy spot.
(Half Bath on main Floor)
I love little powder rooms
(Kitchen)
This kitchen needs flooring, paint, and some swagger for sure, but the bones are a good base to build something special on.
Thinking of changing the cabinetry color, countertops, and making that island something special...adding pendant lights above it and the ideas are coming fast with this room.
(Living Room)
This room is the first one you see when you come in the house.
I'm thinking of adding some cozy IKEA furnishings, thrifting finds, and archetectural salvage, this room could be something special.
Now we come to the worst room in the house. So much work required here. Gotta tear up some bad decisions from the previous decorator, but it's so doable.
(Master Bathroom)
This Master suite will be sweet!
Elbow grease and patience required.
(Master Bedroom)
And finally, a place to create. Not just a want, but a need to feed the creative part of me.
I'm really excited about this room.
(Future Studio)
So that's the tour!
It's gonna be quite a journey.
Counting on you all the do this with me.
We are gonna need some advice and inspiration to make this place ...home.

Just cleaning and paint will make a HUGE, HUGE difference. You'll make it homey in no time! Maybe you won't have to repair walls or wood floors in this one?
ReplyDeleteoh! you will have so much fun! thank you for your visits and kind words. i will be following your journey! : )
