I know it looks good from the outside, but there's some serious work that has to go into this home we've chosen to buy.

As I was out shopping yesterday, picking up buckets, rubber gloves, assorted cleansers, rags, scrubbers, and such, I had a mini anxiety attack as I began to think of the overwhelming task ahead. There is so much scrubbing, sanitizing, and general polishing up of this house we are moving into. Since this will be the beginning of my life in this new home, I self soothed my anxious heart with images of those glamour girls of the past. I'm deciding to take on this, at least in my mind, as I become cleaning lady extraordinaire. Yes, Even if it's all in my mind. 
Oh, I will channel my inner Cinderella and clean and sing away...
And when it's all done and clean and smelling good, it'll all have been worth it.
Yep, this is the next several days of my life. We close on the house on Monday and that evening, the super scrubbing begins.

Congrats to your great new home!!! I guess it is best to just take it one day at a time, one task at the time, without thinking ahead. That's all you can do anyways, right.
