Grandbabes and Good Stuff

After a blessed weekend of visiting our kids, kissing on and soaking up hugs from grandbabes to last me till the next visit, meeting with my friend, Sherry, of Shy Cellars ...(what a God moment of creativity and encouragement that was!!!)......
(more to come on that)...

I'm home, in the studio and back at it.
(me and baby Maddox)

(My Savannah who is never fully dressed unless she sparkles)

(and our wildman, Adan...cute as a button and a real calorie burner if your chasing or playing with him)

***
Yep, back at it.
In case you haven't heard the news.
I've started TheArtfulLife as a business!

My first order of that business is filling a booth in a great place called "The Street of Shops" in Lewisburg, PA.  I've really put myself out there and have committed myself to getting it ready by February 1st and geez!, why am I blogging right now??!!

Well, writing to all of you helps me get my perspective and remember why I'm doing this to begin with.

The tag line for my business is...
"artful offerings for living and giving"

I love that the word offering.  It is the key.
With what gifts God has given, I want to offer back to Him in the form of blessing others with creating an item that will encourage, lift up, and help create a peaceful, happy, pretty space that will make someone smile and also offer unique items that anyone would be proud to give someone as a gift.

It's my heart and I'm all in!!!

Before we left for our family visit, I began working on these dated electric chandeliers giving them new life as candle-liers and/or birdfeeders.

The before pics reveal the sad state in which they were found, but full of potential at the same time!

They hang in the studio now with fresh finishes and in the process of being recreated.

With the addition of vintage tea cups and saucers...

and great shaped glassware...

We've got ourselves two items that fit the mission of TheArtfulLife
Light up a dark space in an artful way inside or on a porch...or attract birds when you hang this on a limb in a backyard tree and create an atmosphere in which to watch them.

Loving the path I'm on!!!

Thank you to my sweet Friend, Vernita, for the gift of this sign to hang at my Shoppe.

(what a great sign)

Blessings on a great beginning to your week.
