Storage Boxes and Waiting for Spring

I opened the door to the room I'm calling the "Studio" yesterday and What a mess!
Creative clutter is the best, but it still had to be cleaned up and organized before I could get to work.

I needed to get to work because, I feel so blessed as I type this, the lil shoppe that I opened which is a 10 x 10 booth is looking a little bare.

I'm so grateful and encouraged, but a bit panicked because I have so much work to do.
Because I take pride in purchasing unique items, remaking them in some useful and pretty way, and try to keep things as handcrafted as possible, it is clear to me that it's going to be a challenge to keep the shoppe full.

So, gathering some finds together and analyzing them yesterday, I worked on these cheese boxes.
I love creative and attractive storage solutions and thought these were perfect.  I'm in a Spring / beachy mood so whitewashed with gray striping with a little decorative detail was what happened.

I like when beautiful things just ...happen

It's been so cold and a winter wonderland around here

but I felt it necessary to put Winter greens away and simplify my decor in prep for a little Spring decorating to come.

This window is something I've dragged around with me for years.  A little graphic black and white scrapbook paper in the panes, a few accessories and I've got the base for adding a little Spring when I get in  the mood.
I'm thinking some interesting topiaries in stone containers.  I have something in mind and I wonder if it will get from my mind to my mantel.

I have another window that I've added some pics to in our family room.
Helps me to see my Babes and Grandbabes faces on a daily basis since they are so far away.

I hope these last weeks of Winter treat you all well and until I see those Spring bulbs poking through the cold ground, I'll keep sketching them and dreaming of warmer days.

Blessings to you,
T
